Diaphragm pumps

The diaphragm pump is a type of vacuum pump in which the change in volume is given by the oscillation of a diaphragm closing one side of a chamber. The advantage is the absolute impermeability achieved by eliminating sliding between parts.

piston pump - membrane with interposed oil
Constructed with bronze or stainless steel contact parts, and designed for water purification using filter presses, they provide high flow rates and heads while requiring low power: they are simply indestructible.

Wilden pumps are easy to handle, resistant to dry running, self-priming, can be operated submerged and are adjustable by varying the compressed air pressure. They are suitable for transferring highly viscous, abrasive fluids containing solid particles.
